IMAGINARY FEATURES OF THE UKRAINIAN PEASANT’S RUSSET COAT IN THE CREATIVE HERITAGE OF DOMINIQUE DE LA FLISE (MID OF THE XIX CENTURY)

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article. Research of imaginary characteristics of the women's peasant’s russet coat of the Ukrainian women in the middle of the XIX century on the basis of a structural analysis of the creative heritage of Dominique de la Flise for their further use in the design of modern clothing. Methodology of research is based on the use of historical, biographical and artistic approaches for analyzing the creative heritage of Dominique de la Flise. Also the work uses the literary and analytical, system and structural analysis of the form, decoration and color range of the Ukrainian peasant’s russet coat. Scientific novelty. For the first time scientific analysis and systematization of the compositional characteristics of the variety of forms, decorations and color range of the women’s peasant’s russet coat based on the study and structuring of original documents from the creative heritage of the researcher of the Ukrainian folk culture Dominique Pierre de la Flise were conducted.
