Religious music, along with architecture and painting, is its most vital component. It embodies the fusion of critical cultural elements - art and religion. The historical development of the spiritual music of the Orthodox tradition is characterized by its gradual secularization and formation, along with liturgical (purely liturgical) - paraliturgical and extraliturgical directions. Each of them is represented by numerous genres and layers of musical works that occupy an essential place in the history of the development of the national musical culture.
