Summary/Abstract: International relations of Ukraine with its closest neighbors are always relevant, especially in the context of our country’s aspiration to integrate into the European Union. Recently, we can state the aggravation of relations between Ukraine and Hungary in the context of protecting the rights of national minorities of Transcarpathia, in particular, with regard to the linguistic issue, as well as in connection with the need to address the issue of dual citizenship of Ukraine and Hungary. In this context scientific studies of Ukrainian-Hungarian relations at the present stage are of particular importance. The aim of the study. The article reveals the peculiarities of the relations between Ukraine and Hungary at the present stage, reveals the problems arising in the Ukrainian-Hungarian relations and elaborates proposals for their solution. The specificity of the topic is determined by a comprehensive approach to the application of research methods, among which: formal logic, which clarifies the essence of legislative acts that directly affect the relations between Ukraine and Hungary.
