Summary/Abstract: This article focuses on the question of interpretation of the vocal origin monody in the Stichira by Pavel Rivilis. The composer achieves the sound aspect by choosing certain conditions particularly when the sound color of the symphonic orchestra instruments creates associations with the timbre of the human voice. These conditions are directly connected with the thematic structure and character of the movements structures and are accomplished through various registral positions of instruments
