Summary/Abstract: The article has the intention of boosting teachers’ competence and confidence to use ICT in the classroom, to enrich their collection of authentic and responsible learning techniques, to improve their day-to-day work and to drive them towards innovation. Web 2.0 tools are part of an effective heuristic learning approach, motivating students towards continuous discovery, due to which the learning process becomes active, modern, interactive, learner-centered, and based on cooperation and collaboration – all of these being aspects of constructivist education. There are also examples of recommended tasks for outcomes development using various tools and highlighting the benefits of their application in lessons.
