Summary/Abstract: In this paper I examine the perceptions of Serbia and European Union among Serbian migrants living in Vienna. I consider Europeanization as a type of cultural adaptation to processes revolving on a global level. In this work I argue that the general notion of informants I conducted research with is that the Europeanization of Serbia doesn’t have to require the membership of Serbia in European Union, but that it can be a goal (of improvement) itself.
