Summary/Abstract: By reducing available resources, by dinamishing productivity, by increasing inflation and unemployment, military spending is producing poverty. Asa poverty producer, it is dangerous for people’s health. The conflict between military needs and health can be dealt with, optimaly, by decisions based on compound indicators, like Sivard index.
