CONDITIONAL SENTENCE WITH PROTECTION SUPERVISION

Summary/Abstract: Conditional conviction with protective control, as another form of suspended sentence (which has the widest application of all types of criminal sanctions) is the modification of the Anglo-American probation of conviction. The suspended sentence with protective control has been accepted for a long time in most Western European countries, but also in our country. In order to be able to pronounce conditional sentence with protective control, all conditions for the application of "ordinary" conditional sentence must to be fulfill. However, the most important difference between these two forms of conditional sentence is the introduction of protective oversight of the convicted person. Precisely this form of suspended sentence in Bosnia and Herzegovina law will be discussed in this paper.
