Summary/Abstract: The contribution deals with that period of Mihailo Đurić's (1925–2011) creation when he worked on sociological problems, during which he collaborated with Radomir Lukić, Vojin Milić and Veljko Korać. This phase resulted in two important books for the development of Serbian sociology: Problems of Sociological Method and The Sociology of Max Weber, where Djurić presented his original theoretical-philosophical approach.
