Summary/Abstract: Businesses have to employ occupations with the features they need to work to gain a competitive edge. In this process, it provides great convenience to the Five-Factor Model of Personality Theory businesses that classify individuals according to their personality traits. Individuals evaluated in the model; Extroversion, compatibility, responsibility, balance and empathy. As for Multiple Criteria Decision Making, there are multiple criteria and objectives that conflict with each other, and the case where they are decided simultaneously. The purpose of this study is to classify a service operator's occupants with the VIKORSORT method, one of the Multiple Criteria Decision Making techniques within the scope of the Five-Factor Model of Personality. The VIKORSORT method has been used for the first time in the classification of occupations. In this respect, work is unique. Within the scope of the study, 21 occupations in the branches of a private business were classified. Two criteria were set for each personality dimension and the steps of VIKORSORT method were followed and evaluated according to 21 occupations, five dimensions and 10 different criterions. As a result of this process, occupations are assigned to groups as short, medium and long term occupations. Long-term occupations are the group that meets the criteria that the business desires most. Thus, decision makers in the executive position have the opportunity to be effective in their decisions regarding occupations.
