Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to sum up theoretical and hypothetical framework for empirical research of political socialization process in the family in Serbian socity nowаdays. The investigation focuses on two theoretical concepts, political socialization and generation as a sociological paradigm. Two methodological approaches are applied. First is interactiv model of political socialization, based on analysis of relations between individual who is socialized, agents of political socialization, dominant political system and periferal social sub-systems. The second one tests interactiv relation of generation, lifecycle and effects of epoch. It is suitable for definution of certain historical periodes with activ role of political generations.
