Summary/Abstract: Prof. Marin Drinov was born in 1838 in the Bulgarian town ofPanagyurishte and died in 1906 in the Ukrainian town ofHarkow, where he spent most of his life as a teacher in thelocal university. He is an eminent figure among the mostprominent Slavonic scholars in the world.
