Summary/Abstract: The essay examines the relationship between the Greek sárks and sōma. The aim is to show that the New Testament propagates the theory regarding two bodies and the possibility of transformation of one into the other, but only under the condition that we do not accept the suffering of Christ as a mere belief in resurrection, but rather as a «here and now» concern for one’s own body
