Summary/Abstract: Due to the economic and political changes in Russia that took place in the past decades, the worldwide interest to Russian economy and economic education in Russian has increased. Many students from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kirghizia, Uzbekistan have started to learn, in addition to the common Russian language, the language of the economy and business. Learning of the language of business as a means of communication assists the students in adaptation to modern circumstances of business conduction and in successfully reaching the required understanding with the partners in real communicative situations. In this article, the paradigmatic and derivational peculiarities of the economics vocabulary are analysed. By this study, the contents and structure of modular textbooks on the business and economics language are analysed. Due to the modular textbook contents and structure analysis, a range of important conclusions about development of the Russian economics term system, formed in the post-perestroika period, as well as the stages of this term system learning by the new generation of foreigners, studying in Russia, can be reached.
