Opportunities to improve the personal management in public administration (On the example of the "Labor inspectorate - Veliko Tarnovo")

Summary/Abstract: The public administration in Bulgaria performs its duties under conditions of high requirements on consumers, public discontent and insufficient resources. It faces the difficult task of improving the services provided, ensuring a more efficient resources usage and ensuring the efficiency of its work in limited means and high public pressure. The paper analyzes the results of the Labor Inspectorate’s work for 2017, on the basis of which are made some recommendations on the need to change the competences of the human resources in this public structure through the usage of competent approach.
