Summary/Abstract: Social justice, as a fundamental value of socialpolicy, is a permanent object of the study of politicaltheory and practice both in the historical and the contemporary context. The presented research paper addresses the content framework of this phenomenon through its specificities in the political philosophical-axiological plane on the basis of selected economic indicators in terms of their secondary analysis. Its main objective is to identify the axiological understanding of social justice by relevant governmental entities and their coalitions in the Slovak republic and Hungary through valorisation mechanisms of retirement pensions between 2016 and 2019.
