Summary/Abstract: The article examines the doctrine of the Communist International on the national question on the Balkans and in particularly the Macedonian Question. On the basis of already known as well as some newly found documents, the positions of the communist parties in Bulgaria, Greece, Roumania and the Serbo-croatoslovenian kingdom (Yugoslavia), as well as that of the Balkan Communist Federation (BCF) are analyzed.
