Hysteria in Children and Teens Age

Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on one of the most common neurotic disorders – hysteria and its consideration in children and adolescents. At first it presents the main clinical symptoms of this common neurotic disorder. The emphasis is on the predominant hysterical reactions. Attention is drawn to the most common behavioral markers characteristic of children suffering from hysteria. Various theoretical formulations of known researchers in the field of neurotic disorders in children are presented. An important place is given to the ways and methods for specific and accurate diagnosis of neurotic disorder clinic and thus some therapeutic techniques are displayed. In conclusion the article emphasizes on the importance of early diagnosis of neurotic disorder and its treatment.
