SHOPPING CENTERS AS COMBINES IN THE FIELD OF COMMERCIAL TRANSACTIONS

Summary/Abstract: The commercial centers are a new form of gross commercial organizations, which originated as a result of a rapid urbanization of the outskirts of the big cities. A commercial center makes possible a complex rendering of commercial, trade, hotel and other services to the population, and it has even premises for entertainments and for rendering of medical services.The first commercial center has been created in the USA, but soon afterwards such centers are being created in other western countries, too. In our country they are just now proceeding to a planned creation of such centers in Sarajevo, Zagreb and Ljubljana. One must carefully observe the work and study the experience of the center at Zvezdara in Belgrade, which originated from an adaptation and reconstruction of some classic commercial establishments. Even in the USSR there is an intensive work on introduction of selfservice and construction of commercial centers. A commercial center, based on a concentration of selling premises makes possible the application of the most modern technics, whereby one multiplies the turnover and makes possible an integration of all the commercial functions, In such a situation a commercial center is the sole mediator in the turnover of the goods between the producer end the consumer.
