Summary/Abstract: The author introduces the ethnological project »Research and Evaluation of Ethnographic Monuments for the purpose of Their Documentation and Eventual Protection in SR Croatia«. The fieldwork in surroundings of Ozalj was carried out at the end of 1983. The team of researchers was interdisciplinary. Along with the classification of objects representing traditional architecture, the author also discusses some problems related to the legal and physical protection of these objects.
