Summary/Abstract: In recent years, terrorist actions are performed more often, and generate larger and more serious consequences that directly affect the way of life of people around the world. Fear of terrorism and its consequences is constantly growing. The culmination was reached after the attacks carried out on 11 September 2001. Disclosure of terrorist intentions to use, for some future attacks, weapons of mass destruction, especially nuclear, chemical and biological weapons, further increased the world's fear of terrorism and encouraged international and national organizations to intensify activities aimed at combating terrorism.
