Summary/Abstract: Soldiers’ social centres, functioning in every pre-war unit of Polish Armed Forces, where common institution. Providing recreation in free time from official duties was their task. In the article the author focused on showing soldiers’ social centres as the place of the education of Polish Army soldiers in the Second Republic of Poland. The emphasis was put on the methodology of using Soldiers’ social centres, which were at that time a place for cultural and educational activities. The program assumptions of the educational work and the role of the Soldiers’ social centres in the educational process are presented.
