Summary/Abstract: Mihail Sebastian is one of the most important romanian journalists in the Interwar period. The journalist impresses by the variety of topics that cover all aspects of life: political, cultural, economic, social, civic, ethics, education. Particularities of the journalistic discourse are: irony and sarcasm. Respecting the moral and ethical principles are very important for Mihail Sebastian. He is a professional journalist because he is always preoccupied in finding the truth to make it known to the people. Furthermore, Sebastian builds his arguments on statistics, official documents like Mihai Eminescu. Mihail Sebastian is an example for all the journalists because in the hard times that he lived, he remained lucid, objective and neutral”.
