Summary/Abstract: On the grounds of the legal provisions comprised in the Labour Law Act of the Republic of Serbia, in this paper the author analyses the legal institute of competition prohibition in Labour Law. The prohibition of competition is viewed primarily in the light of the freedom of labour principle, as the prohibition of competition represents one of the most significant restrictions of this freedom. Further on in the paper, the author elaborates on the standpoints of positive law pertaining to this issue.
