Summary/Abstract: The study deals with the evolution of inter-religious relations in Romania between 1859-1918. The initiative of the article is to comprehend the spirituality of the period and the social consequences of the new legislation adopted in order to regulate the inter-religious dialogue between the Orthodox and the Catholics.
