Summary/Abstract: Work engagement and positive attitudes towards an organization are of significant importance to the functioning of employees. This article is devoted to a review of research into nursing work engagement. We reviewed publications available in the PUBMED database. For the purposes of this paper, engagement in work will be understood in accordance with Schaufeli and Bakker as a positive, fulfilling, work-related state of mind that is characterized by vigour, dedication, and absorption.
