Summary/Abstract: The study presents the identification of the European Union funds as a source of financing tasks in regional and local authorities in the Kańczuga municipality. The research covers activities aimed at obtaining the EU funds in 2009-2013. An evaluation of the programs implemented under the EU budget and the analysis of the social activity under the project „Time for activity in the municipality of Kańczuga” was evaluated. Thanks to EU funds a number of projects have been implemented aimed at improving skills, social integration and employment as well as improving the and competitiveness.
