Summary/Abstract: The classical concept of constitution has as a source the doctrines of the social contract, constitution being just an original form of social contract. The word ‘’constitution’’ is used since ancient times and,up to now, in different fields of science. In this study we try to clarify the concept of constitution and showsome features of Romanian constitution.
