Analysis of Thematic Areas of Theoretical Considerations in the Subdiscipline of Methodology of Management Sciences

Summary/Abstract: The methodology of management sciences is an important sub-discipline of management sciences. However, comprehensive literature studies in this field are rare. The aim of this study is to analyse the thematic areas of theoretical considerations of the methodology of management sciences. The following research methods were used: literature review and structural analysis. First, the essence of the methodology of management sciences was presented. The second part presents the specifics of the methodology of management sciences as a sub-discipline of management sciences. Then, a structural analysis of the sub-discipline was carried out according to three thematic areas, separated on the basis of a classifier of sub-disciplines of management sciences, namely: subject, research methods and paradigms. In the last part, final conclusions were formulated and directions for future research were indicated.
