Summary/Abstract: The goal of the article is the analysis of the central position and its type on the achieved level with respect to the structural hole in the network of interlocking directorates on the Polish capital market. The grid analysis method, as well a social network and linear regression method of ordinary least squares, were employed in the course of the analysis. We obtained corporate board information on the main market at the Warsaw Stock Exchange and on the NewConnect market in December 2014. The main conclusion of the conducted study was identification of the significant influence of the modelled relationship, including basic centrality measures (closeness, betweenness); however, the influence (positive or negative) is depended on the type of centrality measure.
