INCUNABULAR, RARE AND VALUABLE PUBLICATIONS IN THE LIBRARY OF SHUMEN UNIVERSITY

Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with the fund of incunabula, rare and valuable publications in the library of Shumen University. It comments the chronological boundaries of the fund and the different collections in it. The emphasis has been put on emblematic works of educational, fiction, theological and academic literature, published during the period of the Bulgarian Revival as well as on valuable Russian incunabular books, which are part of the fund. Attention has also been paid to the availability of convolutes among the publications with comments on their types.
