Summary/Abstract: The time when were made the whole works of Vladimir Jovanovic, even the electro-acoustic and radio-phonic compositions, figurate today as a time without contest, polycentric and without stylistic or genre orientation. The sense of shudder overcomes anyone who recalls at first the art of classicism, as well as art of baroque or romanticism. The true of scientific and technological progress have influenced on every artistic project would be understood as part of the individual strategy of the artist; and the poetic of artist and lonely voice in the divided world of objective and informational facts. The absurd is that this situation brought, as like never before, disruption in communication between audience/listeners with artist; so we could say that artist become some sort of autistic artist which research for his own initiative and interests. Working as a chef of Electronic studio of Radio Belgrade, and at the same time as a composer, Vladimir Jovanovic achieved, in his working exile, to accomplish the numerous compositions despite the technological and production lag behind the once-prestigious radio drive. The spectrum of (his) interests in genre were included, besides classical forms in contest of electro-acoustic music, the improvisations, narrative (program pieces), quotations (dedications) and completely new authentic sorts of creativity. However, no meter of shape and length of compositional form, it seems that the cyclical form represented the most suitable solution for most of its work: like this shape, which was present even in baroque and in all later musical styles, was the most suitable solution for testing the possibilities of new instrumental colors and their layers, for dynamic contrasts in within limited production conditions and, finally, for the integration of concrete, conventional and generative synthetic sounds. His introvert character and loneliness of studio work is transposed into his music, making it ideal for personal and intimate listening and musical improvement. Existing outside of mainstream of the Serbian art scene put him in a position of timeless and extravagant dimension to the creator’s position that is reference to the global, electro-acoustic musical sky that will be only explored and exploited.
