Summary/Abstract: For behaviorists parental training are the best way of solving the problem of younger children’s disobedience. During workshops parents learn a series of habits connected with consistent andattentive behaviors directed at the child. Transactional analysis emphasizes the importance of relationsin developing rapport and strokes as one of the ways of influencing the child. A synergiccombination of both approaches to child’s rebellious behaviors may prove more effective than activitiesundertaken within only one theoretical and practical framework.
