Summary/Abstract: Eh, that was a thing to remember! That grey truck, I think Hanomag was the name, as it burst into the village and stirred everything alive. There was no creature that did not crawl its way into the front yard to feast its eyes on the thing never seen before. A tall, mustachioed man with a French hat on his head came out of the truck, his hand on the door as if holding a dear friend he never separated from, and asked in a confident voice: “Can someone get me a bucket to water this beast?”
