Summary/Abstract: When we buy a good or service in every aspect of our life, we do not encounter the advertisement of the product in the first place and then act as a buying mind, which is the most basic of the purchasing movements of the consumer. Television advertising, one of the advertising types, has a structure that is important in shaping our consumption habits. In this regard, studies on the effect of television advertisements on consumers' buying behaviors have been carried out in this research.The purpose of this research is that consumers prefer to purchase or purchase a good or service; in short, whether or not advertising has an effect on buying behaviors. In order to investigate this issue, a questionnaire was applied on "the effects of advertisements on the purchasing behavior of students at İstanbul Ticaret Üniversitesi". Analysis of the data showed that; television commercials have an impact on the purchasing behavior of students. This effect is an important factor that increases the desire of the students to buy, features such as brief or detailed explanation of promotions, presence of famous people in advertisements, use of sound and visual effects.
