Summary/Abstract: Book review: Ştefan Oprea, The Ages of the Stage, 2 vols, Junimea Publishing House, 2016. At the celebration of the bicentenary of the first theatrical performance in Romanian – in Iaşi, December 27, 1816, the theatre critic Ştefan Oprea presented the analysis of the theatrical activities of the National Theatre in Iasi (performances, portraits of stage directors, actors, theatre critics) covering thus more almost 50 years of stage life in over 1000 pages.
