Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to determine the importance of internationalization as a conditio for the market success of startups. The literature on the subject and concept of internationalization of young companies were reviewed. The results of research on the conditions and export activity of Polish startups and their market position, which indicate the advantage of startups active on foreign markets, were recalled.
