Summary/Abstract: The article contains characteristics of paraliturgical ritual and songful practices of Western and Eastern religious traditions. Peculiarities of Ukrainian-Byelorussian paraliturgical songfulness of the XVIIth-XIXth centuries are determined. The process of paraliturgical songful repertoire's formation on the example of the eucharistic themes' compositions is reflected. The role of linguistic factor in the formation and development of songfulness of paraliturgical meaning is noted.
