Summary/Abstract: Information and communication technologies enter in different fields of the educational activity more in each day. In order to be analyzed the characteristics of the modern information society and education in the information society it is important to be understood the historic premises for its origin. The historic process of informatisation of society is accurately described through consistency of the information revolutions related to the technologies which are new for their time.
