Summary/Abstract: The article clarifies the character of the technological approach as theory and practice in the sphere of education. The specifics of application of the technological approach in the management of education is outlined, based on research and theoretical analysis of specialised literature on the management and pedagogy. The stress is put on the basic characteristics of the technological approach in higher education with the aim to motivate and develop the academic staff.
