Comparative Analysis of the Dynamics of Physical Development Indexes of Girls and Boys Engaged in Artistic Gymnastics

Summary/Abstract: The physical development characterizes those aspects of the shape and structure of the human body which determine certain motor skills and are related to the physical ability and health of the human beings. The purpose of this research is to determine how the regular artistic gymnastics activities influence the physical development of boys and girls. The aims of the research are: 1.To determine the level of physical development of the boys and girls engaged in regular artistic gymnastics activities. 2.To compare the dynamics of the physical development of the growing up boy-gymnasts with that of the girl-gymnasts during the period of three training years – 2011, 2012, and 2013.
