Summary/Abstract: In the article the author presents the work on the comments to the two volumes of the collected works by Maxim Tank, his achievements as a literary critic and translator. Mysticism, aphoristic style, the search for an original genre, and poetics of contrasts present in his lyrics are emphasized. The author discusses several theories concerning the origin of the writer’s pen name Maxim Tank, as well as interesting facts and mystical numbers that coincide with important dates in his life.
