Summary/Abstract: The paper intends to observe and to explain the most important and common mistakesdone by the Polish students who are studying Romanian as a foreign language. Thescientific discourse is divided into 3 sections: phonetics, lexical and grammatical errors.The study begins with an interesting and efficient distinction between 2 notions initiallyproposed by Corder: error (which related to linguistic competence) vs. mistake (whichrelated to performance).
