Summary/Abstract: In this study, the effects of locus of control and self-efficacy on procrastinatory tendencies of a group of university students are investigated. The subjects are ask to complete the following questionnaires: the Procrastination Scale (Lay 1986), the Locus of Control Scale (Velichkov et al. 1987) and the General Self-Efficacy Scale (Schwarzer & Jerusalem 1995). The results reveal that no sex difference for procrastination. Men demonstrate higher self-efficacy score and lower locus of control score than women. The analysis of variance reveals the effects of locus of control on procrastination. The results indicate that internals and externals differ in procrastination and self-efficacy.
