Summary/Abstract: This article is dedicated to the participation of Bulgaria in the process of decision making in the European Union (ЕU). It aims to present the mechanism for organization and coordination of the European Union affairs that aligns the Bulgarian framework positions, positions and instructions for meetings of the Council of the EU and other institutions, and to try to answer the question whether this mechanism gives the opportunity for effective participation of Bulgaria in the process of decision making in the EU and the effective assertion of national positions. In short, the process of decision making in the EU will be also presented.
