Summary/Abstract: The current article is an important step to be analyzed existing mechanism of implementation on integration policies in the field of vocational education and training in the EU Member States. The aim of the article is to present the results of the own study about the impact assessment of the Leonardo da Vinci sectoral programme on the development of the vocational education and training system in Ireland. The text is argued the thesis that implemented in Ireland projects under the decentralized activities (Mobility, Partnership, Transfer of Innovation) realized in the utmost degree the Programme “lower aims” (impact of individual level) and in relatively limited extent the Programme “high aims”. That don’t contribute the Programme to be used for conducting the public education policy for the continued improvement the quality of education and systemic impact on the education system as a whole. The article is an important step as to be highlighted the constancy of the problem related with the implementation of “Leonardo da Vinci” programme in the EU Member States. This should lead to urgent demand for measures and procedures to establish the necessary conditions “Leonardo da Vinci” programme as a part of the new European Programme for Education and Training “Erasmus +” to be able to realize the planned higher public purposes which will be converted in guarantor of sustainable growth and socio-economic development.
