“Finding New Ways” – BOBCATSSS 2011 (Szombathely, 31st January–2nd February 2011)

Summary/Abstract: The article reports on the 19th BOBCATSSS Symposium that took place in Szombathely, Hungary, on 31st January-2nd February 2011. Its main theme was „Finding New Ways”, i. e. seeking new solutions for libraries, librarians and information specialists. The 2011 edition of the Symposium was organized by the University of Western Hungary, the Oslo University College and the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland. Four parallel panels were organized (New user groups, New working methods, Library and informational Professional and Library as social meeting place/third place). The report summarizes the Symposium, giving detailed information on its main subject themes, sessions and presentations.
