Summary/Abstract: Roma families, most often live in poorly built substandards and homes, in which there is no adequate supply of drinking water and sanitation. The data from the Republic Institute for Health Protection, for 7 Roma communities on the territory of the City of Skopje without "Shuto Orizari" show that 7.25% of the families live in improvised houses, made of non-material (cardboard, nylon, aluminum sheets, etc.), 29.5% in ruined and prefabricated buildings, and only 63% in buildings of solid construction. Roma families' homes are small, planned to carry out and provide basic needs with a living space of less than 5 square meters per family member, with more than 50% of the population.
