Summary/Abstract: The article takes up the issue of pastoral care in shrines. After the presentation of the phenomenon of shrines in the history of the Church and the presentation of the basic functions in these places of worship, the author shows the pastoral ministry in the shrines of the Archdiocese of Bialystok, ending the article with suggestions for the use of these holy places for reviving the spiritual care of Catholics and the deepening of their faith.
