Summary/Abstract: Stress is a process, during this process one evaluates and reacts to what causes threats or is challenging, these events are refered to as “stressors”. According to researches that are made, work place is one of the most typical stress fields. The aim of research - analyze occupational stress in nursing profession by pointing out nursing and educological dimensions. The problems of the introduced research include questions: What is the workplace stressors that might impact on nurses? How to prevent the stress or to help nurses to cope with stress by education? Research method: the conceptual analysis of scientific literature. Research object – occupational stress in nursing. Job stress in the nursing profession has been studied extensively in the last two decades.
